Ever wanted to go to Cuba and experience that unique atmosphere and the magic of Salsa but for some reason this dream hasn't come to reality yet? Well... time to stop dreaming and experience reality because there is a little piece of Cuba right here in Sydney! And it's called "Club Havana". It's name couldn't have been more appropriate; Walking through the doors of Club Havana is like being transported to the heart of the Havana in no time, It's atmosphere, it's crowd and the unique rhythms of DJ Vicente Sebastian make this place probably the most authentic Cuban corner in Sydney.Club Havana was inaugurated in March 2002 and since then the floor has been burning every Friday night.

The masterminds behind this little paradise are Carmen Vella and Vicente Sebastian. Vicente is one of Sydney's most awesome Salsa DJ's and Carmen is one of Sydney's renowned Latin dance teachers, and one of the pioneers of the Sydney Salsa scene, she has been teaching Latin dance for the past 11 years and her contribution to the Latin scene has been immense, the success of Club Havana is proof that Carmen's dedication has truly paid off.

Club Havana is a place for everyone, weather you are a Salsa beginner, an intermediate student, a master of the Salsa moves or just curious to see what Salsa is all about, this is the perfect place to start exploring Sydney's rapidly growing Latin scene.

So if you are new in the Salsa scene come and join the beginner salsa lessons every Friday night from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, or if you are an intermediate Salsero and want to learn a bit of Cha Cha join the 8:30pm to 9:30pm class and if you are a Salsa aficionado just show up at 9:00pm to learn that great Cuban dance Cha Cha then join the party from 9:30 and dance till you drop. Club closes at 3:00am
